Agricola Gloria srl is an Italian company specialising in the marketing of fresh fruit and vegetables. Agricola Gloria has been based in Italy, in Tuscany, since it’s foundation.
The company’s goal is technological innovation in the management preservation, storage and distribution of fresh fruit and vegetables.
Agricola Gloria with it’s new and innovative structure is also capable of storing large quantities of produce and, thanks to it’s many years of experience, has excellent logistics.
The plant is located in Porcari in the province of Lucca, 50 km from the port of Livorno in a strategic and optimal position.
Agricola Gloria today has a large warehouse, of about 28,000 square metres, equipped with eight isothermal cells with a controlled atmosphere,
with a refrigerated anteroom, covering an area of 5,899 square metres.
2 cells are customs bonded, and can therefore be used for storing goods that have not yet cleared customs (Livorno port extension);
1 cell instead can be used for freezing, with the possibility of dropping to a temperature of -20 degrees with a direct expansion system.
Upon arrival or departure of the goods Agricola Gloria srl carries out an accurate internal quality control, and draws up a report of the results obtained.
For the 2 customs cells Agricola Gloria srl has the DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) authorisation, which, moreover, provides for the possibility of transferring the containers from the port of Livorno to A3, consequently the goods can be handled and reach the warehouse without the need to issue the T/1 transit and therefore carry out all the sanitary inspections (FITO and AGECONTROL) directly at i ts warehouse, thus avoiding handling at the Port Terminal with
considerable cost savings.
Agricola Gloria also carries out pallet processing and reconditioning so that goods are sold at their best.
